Friday's Featured Fluff Addict is....Sarah from Provo, UT!

Today's Featured Fluff Addict is Sarah!  Read our interview with her below and get to know her better.

Tell us a little about yourself, where you are located, how many kids you have, little ones in cloth, etc.-
I live in Provo, UT (about an hour south of Salt Lake City) and my husband is currently a law student at J. Reuben Clark law school at Brigham Young University.  We just had our first baby in July and we have been cloth diapering ever since his umbilical cord fell off.  :)

What made you decide to give cloth diapers a try?
My husband, actually!  He kept pestering me about it before and during my pregnancy.  He kept saying that it was easy, his mom would just hold the diaper in the toilet and flush.  (aka, the old dunk and swish method with prefolds)  I refused.  But he kept telling me I should do cloth so I finally decided to look into cloth diapers.  I discovered the modern cloth diaper and the rest is history!  I'm addicted.  I'm pretty sure all my nesting energy while pregnant went into researching and drooling over cloth diapers!

What were your friends and family's reaction when seeing the "new" cloth diapers and have they been supportive or skeptical of your choice to use cloth diapers?
My family's reaction, especially my mom and MIL who had done prefolds, was a "wow, that's SO much nicer than what we did!"  Friends my age kind of do a "hey that doesn't look too bad but I still wouldn't do it" kind of reaction (although I'd love to convert the world to cloth!).

What was your very first cloth diaper?
I bought a bunch of one-size pockets from China off eBay.  I am currently phasing those out for different diapers.  Some of the Chinese ones fit well, some were terrible.  It was really hit or miss.

What type of diapers does your stash primarily consist of; pockets, aio, onesize, prefolds, flats, hybrids, etc.?
Mostly pockets.  I had one AIO but I got so sick of the drying time that I un-picked the seam connecting the insert to the stay dry liner and turned it into a regular pocket!  I have several fitted diapers and a bunch of prefolds, but right now I mostly use prefolds for all the other baby uses.  :)

What is your favorite Knickernappies product or which Knickernappies product are you dying to try and why?
I have recently fallen in love with sized diapers and would love to try the 2G!

Do you have a favorite place to hang out and talk or learn about cloth ; a blog, message board, facebook page, etc.?
I spend a lot of time on cloth diapering blogs and following my favorite companies on Facebook.  I'm a little addicted!

What cloth diapering item, besides diapers, do you consider to be a must-have accessory?
I think it's a tie between wet bags and flushable liners!  They make the whole process so much easier.

If you could share just one tip with someone who is just starting out with cloth or considering using cloth, what would be your best piece of advice to them?
Have fun with it!  There's a whole community of cloth diapering mamas, if not in your community (like my area - CD mamas are few and far between), then online!  We're all enthusiastic about it and wanting to help anyone with questions.
