Friday's Featured Fluff Addict is...Kristina from Cloth Diaper Addiction!

Time to feature another hopelessly cloth addicted mama!  This week is Kristina and she has a blog, appropriately titled...Cloth Diaper Addiction!

Tell us a little about yourself, where you are located, how many kids you have, little ones in cloth, etc.- My name is Kristina C. I live in West Michigan. I currently have two little boy and we want to have a few more kids yet! My oldest son will be 2 beginning of September and my younger son was born April 23 of this year! Both are in cloth!

What made you decide to give cloth diapers a try?

Having two boys in disposables can get really costly. Plus my husband and I really wanted me to become a stay at home mommy instead of having to go back to work after my maternity leave. We were trying to cut cost in as many places as possible in order to do that. We had considered cloth when we had our first but never made the switch. Now that we have two in diapers we decided to give cloth a try and I am so glad we did. Its one of the best decisions we have made for our boys!

What were your friends and family's reaction when seeing the "new" cloth diapers and have they been supportive or skeptical of your choice to use cloth diapers? I think after we decided to switch to cloth some of our family was kind of grossed out by it. My mom who watched the boys while I was at work said she would rather do disposables while watching them. But now She uses cloth, I have also gotten a cousin and my sisters to go to cloth!

What was your very first cloth diaper? Our first cloth purchase was Bummis Prefolds with Thristies covers. We wanted to keep cost down and make sure we really liked cloth diapering and that we would continue with it before making any big purchases. We also just started out cloth diapering our infant then a month later switched our toddler over to cloth as well.

What type of diapers does your stash primarily consist of; pockets, aio, onesize, prefolds, flats, hybrids, etc.?
I like to try a little of everything. I have prefolds and covers, quite a few pockets and some AIO's and AI2's, and a couple hybrids. I probably have the most in pockets and prefolds though.

What is your favorite Knickernappies product or which Knickernappies product are you dying to try and why? I really like my door knob diaper pail. I can use it on the door or put it in a smaller diaper pail. I've also hooked it around a dresser knob too! I would really like to try out the Knickernappies one size diaper. oh and I also LOVE the LoopyDo and SuperDo inserts for at night!

Do you have a favorite place to hang out and talk or learn about cloth ; a blog, message board, facebook page, etc.? I am all over the web talking about cloth! I have a blog called Cloth Diaper Addiction (www.clothdiaperaddiction.com) , as well as a facebook page for my blog. I love to visit my local cloth store Ecobuns (www.ecobuns.com) to talk about diapers as well.

What cloth diapering item, besides diapers, do you consider to be a must-have accessory? Wet bags! I have 2 medium, 1 large and to pail liners!

If you could share just one tip with someone who is just starting out with cloth or considering using cloth, what would be your best piece of advice to them? Just give it a try, Put aside all your previous thoughts because once you give it a try you will love it!
